The human brain is among the few mysteries of physiology researchers haven’t figured it out yet.

Every process in the organism takes place under the influence of the brain, whether direct or indirect. The brain has the ability to control any kind of mechanism, including hunger, and satiety. This center is in the pituitary gland, being a complex structure of the brain. .

Both the hunger and satiety centers regulate the food intake: by stimulating the first center hunger appears and in the mean time the second center determines when to stop eating, telling the body it is full. The same pituitary gland regulates body temperature and makes a connection between the hunger zone and the sensitive one, this deciding what kind of food you long for, why and when.

By this we have certain anatomical evidence that there's a tight link between senses and hunger. This sensitive part is not just a simple connection of emotions and hunger in alimentation disorders, but it is the center of all emotions connected to this need. For example, each time you eat a delicious cookie and think how fat it can make you, your brain will take this message and deposit the fat on your tights. The message was simple and the brain processed it. On the other hand, if you try to focus on lesser calorie contain of that particular cookie, most probably you won't deposit fat as your brain will understand the message and accelerate your metabolism.

So, before every meal repeat to yourself that this particular course won't get you fat. At first it will be hard and even extremely funny, as it is hard to believe to be true. Yet, your brain hears you and will process the information as you ordered. You'll see in time that the results won't fail to show.

The next step is to repeat in front of the mirror the following phrase: “Even if I am plump, I am satisfied with my own image.” Before everyone, you must believe that you are beautiful and determined, as you are the hardest to convince. You may leave post-it signs across the house with the message: “you're beautiful” and may act if you've already experienced some weight loss.

Self suggestion may help you adopt a healthier lifestyle. Even if you sit in front of a spinach plate - which you hated before – you may repeat a few times how delicious it is and may even enjoy eating it.
